In this day and age almost every person wants to create their own business and have a flexible source of income. We live in an era of technology and so it’s reasonable to want to create a tech startup, although the core principles of any business apply in all industries. So just in case you may want to have your own startup here’s a comprehensive guide.

The following are a few detailed steps to your next business.

  1. The problem. Identify a problem that needs a solution. It could be anything small or very serious like cancer or boredom. The problem is the foundation of your startup and will be the motivation for all your objectives.
  2. Now that you have identified the problem ask yourself, how can i solve his problem? What are the possible solutions? Does this problem already have a solution? If it does, can a better solution be devised?
  3. Research. Once you’ve come up with a possible solution, research about it. What are the steps to making the solution? What is needed to get to the solution? Is the solution physical or digital?
  4. After finding a way it may be important to look for people who have attempted to solve the same problem you are trying to solve. Collaborate and network with people who have the same vision and mission as you so that you can gain more insight into solving the problem.
  5. Once you’ve decided on a solid solution you can then choose to make it a product or a service.
  6. Evaluation. The next step is to product evaluation. Make the product available for free so that you can see how users respond to it. What is the response? What feedback is your idea getting? Negative or positive?
  7. Use that feedback to improve or ditch your idea. Sometimes your solution may not be necessary so no one may need it. If it gets a fair response then keep improving it. You may need to find investors to help with the costs of the product. You may also need to hire some people to help with the scaling of your new business.
  8. Copyright. If you can ensure your product/service idea is legally protected. Its surely good for you.
  9. Start charging. If the product is getting many users? If it is may be a good idea to start charging for some its services. At this point you pretty much have a good business going.
  10. Keep going. Never stop.

Congratulations! You now have your own business! Hopefully you will become the next Google or something.Probably not but have fun anyway!
